Refunds and cancellations

What you are buying is a position for as long as you hold it. That shapes everything below.

What a bid buys

A bid buys a leaderboard position from the moment it is confirmed until somebody bids higher. There is no minimum holding period, and no guarantee of one. Somebody may outbid you a minute after you pay.

Because the position is delivered immediately and consumed continuously, a completed bid is not refundable on request. This is the main thing to understand before bidding.

When you are refunded automatically

You do not have to ask in either of these cases.

  • Your bid was beaten before it could be applied. If a higher bid for the same profile lands while your payment is still being processed, yours can never take the position. It is refunded in full, automatically.
  • Your bid could not be placed at all. If a payment is captured but the position cannot be awarded — the profile was removed, the board was closed — the payment is refunded in full.

Both are checked continuously, and a daily audit re-checks every captured payment against the board. Money that cannot be honoured is returned rather than held.

When you are not refunded

  • You were outbid. You received exactly what you paid for: the position, for the time you held it. Being outbid is the mechanic, not a failure of it.
  • You changed your mind. The position is delivered the moment payment is confirmed, so there is nothing left to cancel.
  • You are unhappy with the result. A position here is a paid placement, not advertising performance. No traffic, followers, or outcome of any kind is promised — see How it works.

Duplicate and failed payments

A duplicate charge for the same bid is refunded in full. If money left your account but no position appeared, contact us with the payment reference from your receipt and it will be either honoured or returned — those are the only two outcomes.

Failed and abandoned payments are never captured, so there is nothing to refund. If your bank shows a pending authorisation for one, it is released by your bank, typically within five to seven working days.

How refunds are paid

Always to the original payment method — we cannot send a refund anywhere else. Once issued, the payment provider and your bank control the timing, which is usually five to ten working days.

Refunds are issued in the currency you were charged. If your bank converted that amount, the rate on the refund may differ from the rate on the original charge, and any foreign transaction fee your bank charged is theirs rather than ours.

Asking for a refund

Email our contact page with the payment reference shown on your receipt. Requests are answered within three working days.
